Hey you...

Here’s where you get to know me — not just the qualifications, but the human behind them. I’ve always believed that true healing happens when you feel connected to the person guiding you. Your well-being is your greatest asset, and you deserve to work with someone you genuinely vibe with, someone you feel safe trusting with your life’s story.

Thank you for stopping by

My path into health and healing began long before I realised it was a career — it was simply the life I was living.

From the age of two and a half, I grew up as a disciplined dancer. Movement was my language, and it naturally sparked a lifelong curiosity about nutrition, the body, and the incredible healing potential woven into nature.

My dad taught me to meditate when I was very young, and that practice became an anchor I returned to again and again — a quiet doorway into a part of the universe that is always calm, present, and all-knowing.

Over the years, I’ve studied Pilates (mat and reformer), Kundalini yoga, Reiki, Crystal healing, Naturopathy, Iridology, Herbal Medicine, Nutrition, Exercise Science, and I’m currently adding Psychology to that tapestry.

My education has been valuable, but my truest qualifications come from my lived experience — the places where compassion, empathy, and genuine understanding are forged.

My teenage years were filled with extraordinary opportunities, travelling the world and dancing professionally, but I was also navigating the impact of sexual abuse and learning what resilience really meant.

In my first marriage, I was blessed with three beautiful boys. Our eldest son, Braith, passed away at seven and a half months old — an experience that reshaped every part of who I am. Braith is still to this day, my biggest teacher.

I met Glen, my second husband in 2013. Glen and I blended our families. I underestimated how challenging that would be. Our home was full, busy, chaotic and loving — five children between the ages of three and ten. Losing Glen’s eldest son shortly before his 17th birthday sent a shockwave through all of us, one that changed the shape of our family forever.

In 2016, I opened Redhead Wellness Sanctuary — my sixth child.

It became the heart of my teaching, my courses, my community, and the birthplace of my first three books: Natural Path, Diggin’ Your Dark Side, and Becoming.

Selling the business after Flynn passed was a tough decision, but it was necessary for my family at the time.

After a lifetime of strong mental health, I experienced severe depression beginning at 35. The journey back was brutal, raw, and transformative. Diggin’ Your Dark Side was written from that place — not from theory, but from lived experience, because I couldn’t bear the thought of others feeling that alone in their suffering.

My mental health declined a second time while navigating the grief and pressure of my stepson’s struggles and losing him. Not long after, with my family breaking apart and my business gone, I spent five weeks in a mental health hospital and was diagnosed with bipolar type II. I dedicated myself to understanding it — not just intellectually, but spiritually and practically. I have been asymptomatic since early 2024.

I believe life gives us certain experiences because it knows our heart. I don’t stay collapsed in the hard moments — even when they bring me to my knees. I stand up, learn what I can, grow where I’m meant to, and then I share what I’ve learned with others.

Today, all of my work — reiki, naturopathy, iridology, movement, writing, and teaching — is rooted in one simple truth:

You already hold the wisdom to heal. I am simply here to help you reconnect with it.

Biggest love,

Mx
